Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Greet customers warmly and provide attentive guest service throughout their visit. Take orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash or electronic payments with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts. Uphold food safety standards and adhere to health regulations at all times. Upsell products where appropriate to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery during busy periods.

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling of beverages and ingredients. Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently. Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately. Experience with food safety procedures and kitchen operations is advantageous. Ability to deliver outstanding guest services with a friendly and professional demeanour. Culinary or barista training is a plus but not essential; willingness to learn on the job is important. Effective upselling techniques to promote menu items confidently. Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 25 per week
