Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient

Barista/FOH member

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering excellent guest service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills within the hospitality sector, contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure customers enjoy a memorable experience. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the POS system Provide exceptional guest service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs promptly Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, ensuring food safety standards are met Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including food safety procedures and hygiene standards

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or food preparation is preferred but not essential as training will be provided Knowledge of food safety practices and basic kitchen operations is advantageous Experience with serving guests in a busy environment, demonstrating strong time management skills Familiarity with cash handling and basic maths to ensure accurate transactions Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial for understanding food presentation and preparation techniques Excellent guest service skills with a friendly attitude are essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
