Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting cafe environment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile and a desire to return.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care. Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during preparation and service. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while promoting teamwork. Utilize time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous barista experience or strong knowledge of coffee preparation is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices in the food industry. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for coffee culture and serving others in a cafe setting is essential. Pay: 12.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 45 per week
