Job Summary

As a Barista, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and crafting high-quality beverages. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea drinks, as well as providing a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will be crucial in ensuring a smooth operation.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and other specialty items. Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety guidelines and hygiene standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining basic maths skills for order processing. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. A passion for coffee and beverages, along with a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and products. Training will also be given

Pay: 8.00-12.21 per hour
