Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve not only preparing drinks but also ensuring that our guests have a delightful experience from the moment they walk in.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Upsell products and promote seasonal offerings to enhance customer satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or a restaurant setting is preferred but not essential. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A passion for coffee and guest services will set you apart as an ideal candidate.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour
