Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing high-quality beverages and food items while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to engage with customers and provide outstanding service will be key to our success.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and serving areas, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations to enhance their experience. Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are fresh and presented beautifully. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. .

Qualifications

Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential. Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic culinary knowledge and understanding of food safety practices are advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.63 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
