Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while providing exceptional guest services. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and ensuring their satisfaction through your culinary skills and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every cup. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling products to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest services. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous but not mandatory. A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and culinary skills is essential.
