Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest services while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your enthusiasm for hospitality and commitment to food safety will ensure that every customer has a delightful experience at our establishment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, kitchen area, and dining space. Ensure adherence to food safety standards during food preparation and serving. Engage with customers to provide excellent guest services, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Handle cash transactions with basic math skills for accurate till management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Assist in food preparation as needed, following culinary guidelines and recipes. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe environment is preferred. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Basic culinary skills and kitchen experience are advantageous. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. A friendly demeanour with strong communication skills to interact positively with customers. Ability to work well in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated.
