Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in a bustling cafe setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating delicious coffee beverages. Duties: - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Assist customers in selecting beverages based on their preferences - Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently - Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation standards in the coffee preparation area - Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision - Uphold high standards of quality control for all beverages served - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery Requirements: - Basic maths skills for cash handling and order processing - Proficiency in food preparation techniques - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues Join our team as a Barista and be part of a dynamic environment where your passion for coffee and customer service can shine!
