We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring food safety standards, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are presented attractively. Provide excellent guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for order totals. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and enhance overall customer experience.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations is essential. Strong culinary skills with an understanding of food preparation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to provide outstanding guest services with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Experience in upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction is advantageous. A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing methods is highly desirable.
