Overview

As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating exceptional beverages, providing outstanding guest services, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks to customers with precision and care. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and serving. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with food safety practices is essential. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately. Experience in kitchen or culinary roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A passion for guest services and the ability to create memorable experiences for customers.
