Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and a genuine love for coffee and customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, ensuring food safety standards, and providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso-based drinks and teas. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and serving. Engage with customers to provide excellent guest services, taking orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards. Handle cash transactions with basic math skills for accurate billing. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks while maintaining high service standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred but not essential. Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Familiarity with food safety practices and kitchen experience is advantageous. Culinary experience is a plus, especially in beverage preparation.
