Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while ensuring all items are fresh and appealing. Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions efficiently, using basic maths skills to process payments. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. A genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues alike.

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
