Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and dining area in accordance with food safety standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Upsell menu items and promote seasonal specials to enhance customer experience. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using basic math skills. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to fulfil orders promptly while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
