We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and adhere to food safety standards will ensure that every customer enjoys an exceptional experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks, while adhering to hygiene standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering recommendations. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during peak times.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is advantageous but not essential. Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred; training will be provided if necessary. A genuine desire to help customers and create memorable experiences through quality service. Ability to work well within a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
