We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic

Barista

to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry, working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, efficiency, and attention to detail. Previous experience in food and beverage service is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks Ensure all drinks are made to company standards and served promptly Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and customer area Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing excellent guest service at all times Upsell additional products to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities Handle cash register operations and process payments accurately Follow food safety and hygiene procedures in accordance with health regulations Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required Engage with guests in a friendly manner, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy

Skills

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential Knowledge of food safety standards and food preparation techniques Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash management Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively Experience in upselling products to enhance sales opportunities Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory Organisational skills to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health regulations

Pay: 12.21-13.97 per hour
