Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming bar environment. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our patrons enjoy their time with us, whether they are visiting for a casual drink or a special occasion.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring satisfaction with their drinks and overall experience. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring that all food items are presented attractively and served promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible serving practices. Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues in both the bar and restaurant settings.

Skills

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanour with a genuine desire to help others enjoy their experience at our establishment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 11.44-17.06 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
