Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen team Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system and provide correct change or receipts Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations Assist with setting up tables, organising reservations, and managing guest flow during busy periods Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items and daily specials to enhance guest experience Adhere to food safety standards and health regulations at all times

Requirements

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner Good organisational skills and ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately Ability to serve efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure A personable attitude with the ability to work well within a team and independently when required Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
