We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food production while fostering a positive team environment.

Duties

Supervise and lead bar staff, ensuring excellent service and adherence to company standards. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to guarantee quality and safety. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Develop and implement training programs for new staff members, focusing on hospitality and serving techniques. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in food safety practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative drink pairings that enhance the dining experience. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels. Monitor bar performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation and production techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with staff and customers alike.
