Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed. Take accurate food and drink orders, using your basic math skills to process transactions efficiently. Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer any guest inquiries. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, responding promptly to requests or concerns. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise. Clear tables and prepare them for the next guests, maintaining a clean and organised dining area. Assist with training new staff members as needed, sharing your restaurant experience and hospitality skills.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for processing payments and handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. A passion for providing outstanding service and creating memorable dining experiences.
