We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including staff supervision and scheduling.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
Support the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring quality control throughout the food production process.
Train and mentor team members in food preparation techniques, culinary skills, and customer service excellence.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving operational efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Participate in staff meetings to discuss performance, share feedback, and promote team cohesion.
Requirements
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is required.
Experience in food preparation and production is highly desirable.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Familiarity with bartending practices is an advantage but not mandatory.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
