We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced Front of House staff member to take on the assistant supervisor role and help oversee our beautiful establishment in Gainsborough. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and have a flair for creating memorable experiences through exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Co-managing day-to-day operations of the bar, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction
- Assisting with training and mentoring staff, provide guidance and support, motivating them and ensuring we continue to deliver top class customer service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and timely service
-Assist to manage cost control, and strive to deliver healthy GP targets.
-Stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and development.
-Ensure a smooth service and maintain high standards of hospitality for our guests.
-Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
-Handling customer bookings and promotion.
Duties:
- Assist to manage the front of house staff, including bartenders and waiters.

- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a positive work environment

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Candidate must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
This role will include most Saturdays and Sundays in a typical working week.
