Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. This role requires effective leadership skills, as you will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Duties



Supervise and manage bar staff & front of house staff, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company policies. Oversee drink preparation and table service processes to guarantee quality and standards are met. Implement and maintain food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations maintaining our 5 star rating. Manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste. Train and mentor staff in serving techniques, hospitality best practices, and customer service excellence. Collaborate with head chef & kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between the front of house and kitchen operations. Develop creative menus and specials that align with seasonal offerings and customer preferences. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Attend regular meetings with the area manager to look at wellbeing, growth and standards.

Requirements



Proven experience in a management role within a bar or restaurant environment. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous. Bar tending experience is a plus, particularly in crafting specialty beverages. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
