Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated team member that can do both bar and restaurant duties to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and serving beverages, ensuring a clean and organised bar area, serving tables, taking orders and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Take orders and serve food. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service while taking orders and offering recommendations. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Assist with food preparation as needed, supporting the kitchen team during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure efficient service delivery. Weekends are mandatory and hours will be based on the needs of the business.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a bar or restaurant hospitality setting is essential; and training will be provided. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and an interest in beverage preparation is desirable.
