Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team within the Nicholas James group. We are looking for candidates to join us across both bank in Penn hill & Nicholas James in Ashley cross. The ideal candidates will have a passion for providing excellent guest services . As a Bar Staff member, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring that all beverages and food items are prepared and served to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes. Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Provide exceptional guest services by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance the guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. . Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the bar environment.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is preferred; training will be provided as necessary. Basic culinary skills for food preparation tasks. Ability to perform basic maths for handling transactions accurately. A proactive attitude towards helping team members and ensuring customer satisfaction.
