The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Bars Logistics Porter to join our Stadium F&B team on a full-time permanent basis reporting to the Stadium Bars and Events Manager.
The role holder is seen as a key member of the F&B department and takes responsibility for the setup and operational readiness of all F&B Areas at The Rec. The successful candidate will work with a team responsible for delivering a fast paced, premium service to the 14,500 fans that join us on a matchday.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the setup of all Stadium Bars and Hospitality areas, ensuring they are fully operational and matchday-ready.
- Receive, check, and distribute stock deliveries efficiently, maintaining adequate stock levels across all bars, cellars and storage areas.
- Execute pre and post matchday procedures in line with checklists, ensuring all standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Responsible for line-cleaning across all Bars with support from the Stadium Bars Manager.
- To support when required by Bath Rugby partnership, sponsorship, and wedding events business at Farleigh House
- Provide operational support as a runner on matchdays and non-rugby events.
- Any further tasks as highlighted by F&B team on a day-to-day basis.
About you- Required Experience and Attributes
- Experience of working in a large volume food & beverage venue in a similar role with ambitions of further progression
- An excellent team player who is willing to be a role-model to the network of casual matchday event staff
- Excellent planning and coordination skills
- A friendly, positive 'can do' and courteous attitude with the ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
- A willingness to take a flexible approach to working hours
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines
- Experience of working in a focused customer service environment with excellent standards
- Approach tasks and challenges with positivity, a solution-focused mindset and go above and beyond the expected
Preferred Experience & Attributes
- Experience of line cleaning and other technical knowledge
- Basic understanding of margin control and wastage
- Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Food and/ or Health & Safety training / qualification
- Valid full UK driving license

This role is primarily based at Bath Rugby's Home Ground located in the City Centre (BA2 4DS) with work also at Farleigh House (BA2 7RW).
