Electric Studios is an important new music and cultural space for Sheffield. Opening in Spring 2026, Electric Studios will incorporate a state-of-the-art music space, a collaborative arts and working space for young creatives (under 25). We also intend to host an eclectic mix of late-night club events, gigs, cultural events and everything in between.
Electric Group owns and operates some of the UK's most iconic independent music venues, including Electric Brixton, NX Newcastle and Electric Bristol. We host hundreds of live shows, club nights and events each year, working with some of the best promoters, artists and creatives in the industry.

We're looking for a Bars Manager to join our growing team and to put their stamp onto Electric Studios ahead of launching our newest venue.
Key Responsibilities:
Day to day management of stock, bar area and staff training.
Day to day management of Square Epos System
Manage and maintain tight levels of security for club stock and cash.
Plan, organise and implement training for staff to ensure high standards of stock control are maintained.
Ensuring maximum profit potential of Electric Studios is achieved.
Ensuring Electric Studios is operated to the highest standard.
To work with Operations Manager to build the business and ensure the financial targets are met.
Manage the payroll system by ensuring that controls are in place for employee wages, payroll reports to HR and any other relevant employee requirements.
Recruitment, training, motivation and discipline of staff to agreed standards
Other Responsibilities:
Ensuring that all delegated tasks are completed fully and in a timely fashion.
Review trading trends and act as required.
Implement systems and control to improve reporting and efficiency across the business.
Understand and comply with the licensing and legal aspects of running a nightclub.
Informing the Operations Manager of all unusual incidents and actions of staff and patrons.
Dealing with customer feedback.
Ensuring the proper and efficient maintenance of the premises and equipment.
Ensuring the security of the unit patrons, cash and stock.
Ensuring that our customers receive standards of service, product and entertainment in line with Company policy and strategy.
Other specific responsibilities:
Ensuring the venue runs efficiently from an operations perspective.
To manage and assist with Health and Safety matters.
To provide a welcome to customers and maintain cordial relationships at all times.
Watch for accidents and defects or damage to equipment and premises. Deal with immediately to ensure accidents are correctly dealt with and recorded on the relevant legal documentation.
As a key member of the management team your primary duty is to oversee the day-to-day Bars & Cloakrooms operation
Ensuring the development and implementation of training programs and managing the team to provide the very best in customer service along with advising on pricing policy and ensuring each service is run cost effectively.
Ensuring the business maximises its profit potential from admissions and bar sales.
Control, reconcile and be responsible for all cash takings, Banking and financial reporting's.
To research and if possible implement new opportunities to increase revenue and profitability in the business
Experience and personal characteristics:
2 Years in a management role in the licensed F & B trade.
Personal Licence Holder.
Full knowledge of Epos systems.
Great attention to detail.
High level of numeracy.
An authoritative, well spoken negotiator.
