Responsibilities

Serve beverages and food items to customers promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure efficient service. Assist in restocking supplies as needed and report any shortages to management.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable. Excellent serving skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments. Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours. A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the guest experience. Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
