Steventon House Hotel is a boutique 20-bedroom property known for its elegant setting, welcoming atmosphere, and Indian-fusion restaurant. We regularly host weddings, parties, and private events -- especially at weekends -- and we're now looking for a friendly and reliable Bartender to join our close-knit team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in good service, and is looking for regular evening shifts in a calm, professional environment -- particularly with availability on weekends to support weddings and events.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team at Steventon House Hotel. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious drinks and providing outstanding service to our guests, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of our newly refurbished bar.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including basic cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in all drink preparation. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and create memorable experiences. Manage bar inventory and stock up as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout service hours. Handle cash and cash payments accurately. Work on busy weddings/events mostly on Fridays & Saturdays.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of common drink recipes and bartending techniques. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.

Pay: 12.00-14.00 per hour
