We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your ability to manage time effectively while maintaining high standards of food safety will be essential in this role.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently to enhance their experience. Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible service of alcohol at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Adhere to health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patrons. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
