Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring that customers receive excellent service in a lively atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Familiarity with bartending techniques and knowledge of various beverages is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on hospitality and customer service. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A commitment to upholding food safety standards is essential for this role.
