We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of bartending practices. You will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will be crucial in ensuring a smooth operation.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, assisting in ordering when necessary to ensure the bar is well-stocked. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Handle cash transactions accurately, using basic maths skills to process payments efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service regulations. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. A genuine passion for hospitality and providing outstanding customer experiences.
