Bartender

to join our amazing Bar team at The Witchery



The Witchery by the Castle was established in 1979 by James Thomson in a collection of buildings at the gates of Edinburgh Castle. At the historic heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, The Witchery, now in our fifth decade, takes its name from the hundreds of women and men burned at the stake as witches on Castlehill during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.

Permanent full time contract available working 40 hours per week 28 days holiday rising to 32 after 5 years' service Paid training Paid shift breaks Work base pension Progression within an exciting, privately owned trophy Hotel.

Previous wine service experience is preferred; however we will provide extensive training and will help you to develop your skills in a nurturing environment. An ability to work under pressure and a good level of spoken English are also required



Candidates should have Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training or candidates will be required to complete Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training during probationary period.
