We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests while crafting a variety of beverages. You will be responsible for maintaining the bar area, adhering to food safety standards, and managing time effectively during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, using basic maths skills for processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards.

Requirements

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining high-quality service. Knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour towards guests and colleagues. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
