Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain an organised bar area, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards. Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary. Uphold responsible serving practices by checking identification to verify legal drinking age. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and bar operations as required.

Experience

Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices. Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of service. A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others create memorable experiences.
