Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide attentive and friendly service to all patrons, ensuring their needs are met promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, assisting with ordering as necessary. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments. Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible serving practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment and promote specials or events.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for bartending with an eagerness to learn about new drinks and techniques.
