Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organised bar area, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Cocktail experience preferred but not required as training will be offered to the right candidate. Well dressed, presentable and friendly demeanour required for this job.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing excellent service and assistance in selecting drinks that suit their tastes. Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills to process payments efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs for replenishment to management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a safe environment for both staff and patrons. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and food safety standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well as part of a team.
