Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve not only making drinks and serving drinks but also engaging with customers to enhance their experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and cocktails/mocktails. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to health and safety regulations. Engage with guests, providing excellent customer service and addressing any queries or concerns. Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service quality. Handle cash and process payments accurately.

Skills

Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs. Experience in drinks/cocktail preparation. Strong hospitality background with a focus on guest services. Familiarity with restaurant operations and bar management. Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a friendly rapport with customers. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to assisting colleagues in the kitchen or bar area as needed.
