Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of the bar environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of beverages and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Assist in training new staff members in bartending techniques and customer service standards. Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with a solid understanding of bartending practices. Strong basic maths skills for handling cash and making change efficiently. Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in beverage preparation. A friendly disposition with the ability to help customers feel valued and appreciated during their visit.
