We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of the bar environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving drinks and providing exceptional customer service. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain food safety standards will be essential in ensuring a smooth operation.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, using basic maths skills for processing payments. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol responsibly, ensuring compliance with licensing laws. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and service standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold food safety regulations by maintaining hygiene standards throughout the bar area.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and cocktail preparation is advantageous. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A commitment to food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
