Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is well-maintained. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local laws and regulations. Assist in managing inventory by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold food safety standards by maintaining hygiene practices in the preparation and serving of beverages. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper record keeping.

Requirements

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Basic maths skills for managing cash transactions and inventory calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide friendly and helpful service to guests. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. A passion for creating enjoyable experiences for customers in a fast-paced environment.
