We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our small team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of beverages and ensuring friendly customer service. Your role will involve pouring and mixing drinks, stocking fridges, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing their needs promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary, and monitoring usage to minimise waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary. Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendations to guests.

Skills

Proven experience in bartending or within a restaurant environment is preferred. Basic knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques (training will be given). Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory. Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during busy periods. A friendly and hospitable attitude towards guests, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. Understanding of food safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards in the bar area.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 18 per week
