Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their tastes. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service. Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper accounting of sales. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and calculating drink recipes. Previous bartending experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain health standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 45 per week
