Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service to enhance their experience. Manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary and reporting any shortages. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied in processing payments. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any customer needs promptly. Uphold the establishment's standards of hospitality, creating a welcoming environment for all patrons.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is required. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is required to ensure compliance with health regulations. Excellent time management skills are essential for handling multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. A friendly demeanour and ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members alike are vital for success in this role.
