We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of food safety and bartending practices. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations. Monitor guest consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with licensing laws. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills. Assist in maintaining inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices in the preparation and serving of drinks.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. A friendly demeanour with strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs. A valid bartending certification or relevant training is an advantage but not essential.
