Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a lively and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and creating an energetic atmosphere. Manage bar inventory efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to track sales and stock levels accurately. Handle cash transactions with precision through POS systems and cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in billing and change. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures during serving and drink preparation. Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering to ensure seamless service delivery. Manage time effectively during busy shifts by prioritizing tasks such as serving drinks quickly while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

required 2 years experience in bartending or mixology within fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality venues. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and inventory management. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and food handling practices within the food industry. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate measurement of ingredients. Experience with serving at large events such as banquets or catering functions is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or restaurants.
