The Beautiful Mash Tun located on the river Spey is looking for a Bartender to join our small team of knowledgeable individuals and become part of something truly exciting and rewarding.

Full time and Part time positions available - training can be given, can also offer permanent and temporary contracts if required

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while crafting a variety of beverages. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver high-quality drinks will contribute significantly to the overall dining experience. Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently while ensuring their needs are met. Monitor customer consumption of alcohol responsibly, adhering to all legal requirements regarding alcohol service. Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Uphold food safety standards by following hygiene practices in accordance with regulations. Support your colleagues and assist with FOH duties during busy times

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately. A solid understanding of food safety practices is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly disposition, capable of creating rapport with guests. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting is essential for success in this role.
