Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our patrons while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for bartending and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and assistance to enhance their experience. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible serving practices at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Delivering prepared meals to customers.

Skills

Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Strong time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential. Bartending skills, including knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques, are preferred. A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
15-20 hours increase seasonally.

Preferred experience.

Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends.

Must be available to work summer holidays, Christmas, new years etc.
