Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic math skills for processing payments Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and report any shortages to management Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with the ability to create a positive experience for guests Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance in beverage preparation Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
