Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating delightful experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, providing exceptional service, and ensuring that our bar area is welcoming and well-maintained.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Engage with customers to provide an enjoyable experience, taking orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol consumption. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Keep track of inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste. Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices during beverage preparation and service. Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service skills as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in beverage service. Proficiency in basic maths for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards guests and team members alike. A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their experience at our establishment.
